Medical or Preference Dietary Needs
Medical or preference dietary needs can usually be accommodated by what is offered on our menu. All meals are served buffet-style with varying options. Every lunch and dinner includes a salad bar, two entrées, vegetables, bread, peanut butter, jelly, hot and cold beverages, and dessert. Breakfast options usually include an egg dish, potato, breakfast meat, griddle option, oatmeal, cold cereal, fruit and/or yogurt.
We will provide alternative meals to guests with the following dietary needs:
Gluten (allergy to gluten products)
Dairy (allergy to dairy products; almond milk is available upon request)
Egg (allergy to egg products)
Nut (allergy to peanut or tree nut products)
Vegetarian
If you need alternative meals due to one or more of the above, complete the Medical Dietary Request Form two weeks prior to your arrival date. Communication is important to ensure we receive accurate information and have time to prepare. Last minute requests may not be accommodated.
If you require a more restrictive diet, you are encouraged to bring your own prepared food for meals and snacks. We will refrigerate and warm prepared items you bring. Advance arrangements are necessary for this and can be done by contacting JuliaLewallen@glcc.org. We do not offer meals for children and adults with life-threatening allergies.
Our facility contains wheat, gluten, lactose, eggs, soy, shellfish, peanuts, and tree nuts. Our kitchen is not gluten-free, so cross contamination with gluten is possible. We do not cook with peanuts, but we are not a peanut/tree nut-free facility. Breads, baked goods, desserts, ice cream, etc. may have all been processed in a facility with nuts.
If you have any further questions or concerns, contact our food service department: ThereseL@glcc.org or (920) 294-7336
